「優遊吧斯阿里山鄒族文化部落」的特色就在於「優質的部落觀光形象」、「精緻的文化旅遊」與「在地特色產業的體驗」。
然而，2009年8月8日的「八八風災」，部落產業受到嚴重的衝擊，原本穩定發展中的各種經濟活動（觀光旅遊、民宿、特色餐飲）因此受到嚴重影響，甚至部落經濟面臨萎縮轉型的考量。當風災之後阿里山地區的觀光產業正一一往山下遷移之際，「優遊吧斯」乃以反方向思維的操作方式，在阿里山地區的中心地段～樂野部落，2009年9月21日動土建興，2010年6月27日正式營運，興建此築巢圓夢的園區，可以作為有創意圓夢理想的鄒族原住民就業機會以及當地農特產精緻化銷售的平台，讓加入此團隊的原住民青年男女更深的自我激發「文化創意」的淺力，使部落在這樣的價值觀重建起來，並以身為唯一的阿里山鄒族為傲。
